Soy Profesora Titular en el Departamento de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Socióloga y Doctora en Gobierno y Administración Pública por el Instituto Ortega y Gasset/Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Mi trabajo de investigación se enfoca en la economía política de las políticas sociales en América Latina, con especial énfasis en las transferencias monetarias condicionadas para combatir la pobreza, así como en los mecanismos informales de provisión de bienestar para la población vulnerable. También investigo sobre bienestar y vulnerabilidad en América Latina, con foco en la distribución del trabajo no remunerado y
en la desigualdad de género.
